Application Integration

LSpecs provides sample planning, electronic COC (chain of custody) submission, and comparison of lab specifications with lab data deliverables (ie checks for inconsistencies). LSpecs reads lab data directly out of the ESdat database and is produced by EScIS Pty Ltd (the developers of ESdat).  Read more about LSpecs.

PLog Environmental is a field data aquisition system for borehole logging, field and laboratory chemistry. Data from PLog integrates with ESdat and LSpecs. EScIS Pty Ltd have provided substantial input to the environmental components, and provide resale and support services. Read more about PLog.

gINT and WinLog are borehole logging applications. ESdat does not do borehole logging internally and so exports relevant data to either of these packages.

ArcView, MapInfo, Surfer and Google Earth are GIS and mapping applications. ESdat has internal mapping functionality, and can also export to these packages.

EVS (Environmental Visualisation System) is a 3D visualisation and modelling package. An extension for ESdat can be purchased to export to EVS.

ProUCL is a free statistical package produced by the USEPA. It provides many calculations useful for contaminated sites, including 95 percentile calculations using a variety of data distributions (ie normal, log-normal, non-parametric).

Excel can receive a direct data dump, or graphs or formatted tables can be exported.
