Training
Most environmental and geo-scientists spend the majority of their time managing,
manipulating and analysing
data, however, most have never received any formal training in how
to effectively do this. ESDAT distributors can provide general
and ESDAT-specific training.
The following training options are available:
Introduction to ESDAT. This one day course requires completion of Tutorials
1 and 2 which come with ESDAT. This course covers all the basic information
you will need to complete a Hydrogeology or Contaminated Site project, including:

import of laboratory, field, and other data;

tabular, graphical, and map outputs of data;

comparison of chemistry with environmental standards;
- linking with external applications (GIS,
geological logging, excel)

data analysis using ESDAT.

Introduction to the use of Access or SQL to extend standard functionality
Databases for ESDAT Power Users This one-day course is aimed at users who
will be the main 'champion' within an organisation or office. This course
requires completion of "Introduction to ESDAT" and/or some demonstrated proficiency
with the software. The training covers:
